I picked up my first camera at 13 and never really put it down! 18 years of professional photography later, I’m still doing exactly that, just with considerably better gear and a deeper understanding of what makes an image last! I specialize in portraits, personal branding and commercial photography in Utah County, Salt Lake City, and Park City and Los Angeles, working with individuals, creatives and small businesses who want images that actually look like them!
I’m a planner by nature. Before we ever shoot, I’m thinking about light, location, timing, and the specific version of you I want to bring out on camera. That preparation is what separates a good portrait from one you’ll still love in twenty years. My background goes deeper than the lens. Alongside my photography work, I’ve spent 4 years in post-production sound for film and tv, accumulating nearly 30 credits in the industry. That experience adds to my understanding of what professional productions demand and how visual storytelling works at every level.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking Utah’s trails, kayaing on it’s waterways, hunting for interesting rocks, or being bossed around by my cats & chickens! I’m a single mom with 3 wonderful children who are my world! We have loads of fun together!
